dc.description.abstract Quality is a priority across the industries. Lower quality causes defectives and customer complaints whereas higher quality adds value to any firm including manufacturers. The liner dimension variation issue has become critical to the quality of the glove manufacturing. Thus, this study attempts to find the factors affecting liner dimension variation in a glove manufacturing company. This study focuses on total length and the weight variation of the liners due to four possible factors that affect liner dimension variations namely yarn conditioning time, temperature at the knitting floor, liner maturation time and the temperature at the printing warehouse. Those factors were found by brainstorming of industry experts. The F test and two sample t test were used to identify the relationships between mean and variations of selected samples. Multiple linear regression models were used to fit equations to identify significant factors affecting liner dimension variations. The yarn conditioning time, knitting floor temperature and printing warehouse temperature cause to the length variations of liners while the yarn conditioning time, liner maturation time and the knitting floor temperature cause the weight variations of liners. en_US
