Web Based Procurement Management System

Abstract

Procurement Management System is a formal method by which products (goods or services) are acquired for a project from external suppliers specifically in the Procurement Department Process. The system entails managing the Purchase Request, Document Section Process, Supply Section Process and Billing Section Process as well as the overall management of supplier relationships to ensure continued customer service. Specially with the continuous development of enterprisers, procurement has expanded the traditional mode of operations and methods of procurement cannot meet the needs of modern enterpriser procurement. In order to achieve the pursuit of efficiency and effectiveness, the establishment of procurement management system is very necessary. In this research, analysis of the design phase for a web-based procurement management system is included with a successfully completed implementation.
