dc.description.abstract Job satisfaction reflects the extent to which people find gratification or fullfilment in their work. Employees who have higher job satisfaction are usually less absent, less likely to leave, more productive, more likely to display organizational commitment, and more likely to be satisfied with their lives. The main objective of this research was to find the factors related to employees Job satisfaction from selected Apparel industry in Kurunegala District. Financial, Non-Financial, Fringe Benefit and other general factors such as Gender, Age, Experience, and Qualification were considered as the independent variables which affected to the dependent variable Job Satisfaction and the corresponding data were collected using a questionnaire. 320 data were collected from 6 different Garment Factories, 50 from each, which were located in Kurunegala District under the convenience sampling method. Ordinal Logistic Regression was used to analyse the data and to find the factors related to job Satisfaction. According to the analysis, independent variables under the general factors Gender, Age, Experience, and Qualification have no significant effect towards the job satisfaction. The Employee Satisfaction is strongly affected by the Financial, Non-Financial and Fringe Benefit factors. In conclusion, Financial, Non-Financial, Fringe Benefit factors are found to be the most affected factors to the Employee Satisfaction of Apparel Industries in Kurunegala District. en_US
